Bleeding edge engine.
Polarity 9 uses Blink to support the latest web standards to deliver rich content with consistently fast speeds. Pages, games, and videos are rendered instantly with little to no lag.
With so many features, we needed to come up with a design that provided quick access without hiding them in different parts of the browser. The sidebar houses common commands, apps, pBlock, and a Reading List neatly tucked away to the right side.
pBlock is an essential tool to block intrusive ads, malicious scripts, and harmful connections to websites. pBlock is designed to be user friendly with clear indicators and easy customization of blocking rules as you browse. Your identity is automatically masked when Polarity establishes a connection to unknown hosts in order ensure maximum privacy. The blocker also aims to stop any memory intensive scripts and resources in order to reduce CPU/GPU activity caused by websites.
Have an article you want to read but don't have the time? Add it to the Reading List. In addition to keeping track of your articles, Polarity also gives you offline access when you're on the go.
Color coded tabs
A common issue that many users had was distinguishing tabs from each other when there were many of them open. Our goal was to solve this issue to make them more noticeable to reduce the time wasted searching for tabs.
Starting with Polarity 9, Polarity will actively monitor and block any phishing sites to make web browsing a safer experience. In Q1 of 2016, phishing attacks have surged 250% leading to more identity thefts and attacks.
Polarity now integrates Instapaper to provide a seamless reading experience without any ads. Instapaper allows you to customize the text as you please to add a more personal touch.
